The McNamara Fund was created to honor our dear colleague and friend, Dr. J. Arch McNamara. Dr. McNamara passed away in 2010 and his kindness, compassion, infectious laughter, and love of life have been sorely missed throughout our practice.
Dr. McNamara brought a deep commitment to his patients and he demonstrated on a daily basis what it took to be a great physician. The McNamara Fund, created in his honor at Wills Eye Hospital, continues his legacy of resident and fellow eduction and research.
