Samir Patel, MD presented an analysis of the Yosemite/Rhine clinical trials in which almost 16% of eyes experienced an ultra-response (≥4-step improvement in Diabetic Retinopathy Severity Scale [DRSS]) to faricimab, accompanied by improvements in visual acuity, demonstrating that faricimab can dramatically improve diabetic retinopathy in some patients with diabetic macular edema.
The Retina World Congress 2025 was held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida from May 8 to May 11. Many of our Mid Atlantic Retina doctors were invited to give lectures, moderate panels, and lead instructional courses, as leaders in the retina community.
