37th Annual Meeting of the American Society Retina Specialists

The American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS) recently held their annual meeting in Chicago where multiple Mid Atlantic Retina Doctors taught, presented and moderated throughout the weekend.

Among them, Dr. Carl Regillo, who serves on the Program Committee for ASRS, presented on the topic of “Time to Dry Analysis of Brolucizumab Versus Aflibercept in Patients With Neovascular AMD: 96-Week Data From HAWK and HARRIER Trials”, that is featured in the MD Magazine. He also moderated the Surgical Case Conference, was part of the faculty on discussing “Retinaws: When the Going Gets Tough, the Tough Get Going – Challenging Cases in Vitreoretinal Surgery” and served on the panel for the panel discussion: The Last Word.

Dr. Allen Chiang presented on “Patients Ultra-Responsive to Ranibizumab (RBZ): Rates of ≥4-Step Improvement in Diabetic Retinopathy Severity in DRCR.net Protocol S”. Dr. Sunir Garg participated in the faculty presenting on “Online and Social Media Content for Continuing Education and Marketing for the Retina Specialist”, as well as serving as a panelist with Dr. Allen Ho on the Macular Surgery Take-Home Panel. Dr. Omesh Gupta was part of the faculty to present on “Approaches to Secondary Intraocualr Lens Placement” and presented on the Medical Case Conference.
